Recently I found myself reaching for my trusty old copy of Maslow on Management by the timeless father of humanistic psychology, Abraham Maslow. This tends to be my go to any time I find myself in a transition time. Times of transition are when I find it most easy to form habits both good and bad. Values that I have developed have an opportunity to be reinforced or inadvertently cast off. I have found that Maslow reminds me of who I want to be, who I can be, the best me that is possible. Anyone who has ever been gifted with a respected mentor who believes in you knows the blessing I speak of. Abraham Maslow is one of those people in my life. He believes in me and thus empowers me.
